Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Solutions Architect to support enterprise network upgrades, optimization, and quality assurance. This role involves working closely with engineering teams to design, implement, and maintain a robust and secure network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with enterprise network architecture, automation, security frameworks, and compliance standards, as well as a proven ability to mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and security.
- Support and upgrade network management platforms and associated infrastructure components.
- Troubleshoot, maintain and optimize network security and endpoint management solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to remediate security vulnerabilities and implement best practices.
- Provide mentorship and knowledge transfer to junior engineers.
- Work with vendors, product specialists, and research organizations to evaluate and implement best-fit technologies.
- Develop and document infrastructure solutions, ensuring alignment with industry standards and compliance requirements (e.g., NIST 800-53, PCI, ITIL).
- Monitor and analyze network performance, troubleshooting issues as needed.
- Assist in the development of disaster recovery plans, security policies, and compliance frameworks.
- Communicate technical concepts to stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Prepare reports and presentations on network infrastructure improvements and project status.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise network architecture, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of network automation, security frameworks, and best practices.
- Experience with data center network solutions, routing, switching, and network security.
- Ability to lead projects, mentor team members, and manage multiple technical initiatives.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and network performance analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with government agencies or highly regulated environments.
- Familiarity with NIST security standards, PCI compliance, and related security frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with cloud networking and hybrid cloud infrastructures.
