Your new role:
As a Field Service Manager, you will serve as a vital support system for our HVAC technicians. Your time will be divided between finishing office assignments and assisting your team on-site in the field.
Pay:
- $70,000 - $90,000 Yearly
Your days will be filled with:
- Overseeing field technicians and providing insight and guidance when dealing with specific technical issues
- Ensuring a high level of service delivery
- Visiting job sites and inspecting work to make sure it is done according to local and state building codes
- Being involved in the training of staff
- Speaking with customers to assist with quotes, proposals, and concerns/complaints
- Navigating multiple project schedules and ensuring your crew and materials are right where they need to be
- Building bridges with General Contractors, Subcontractors, and our internal teams to keep projects flowing smoothly
- Helping with preparing invoices for customers
- Develop growth strategies and plans
- Manage and maintain relationships with converted clients
- Increase the client base
Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in HVAC Service
- Valid Driver's License
- Some experience being in management and estimating is a plus
- Must be authorized to work in the US.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, supervise, and mentor teams, particularly in plumbing or related fields.
- Strong skills in managing multiple project schedules, coordinating with various stakeholders (General Contractors, Subcontractors, etc.), and ensuring project adherence to plans and specifications.
- Deep understanding of HVAC systems, and installation processes, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA safety standards and a commitment to enforcing these among all team members and subcontractors.
- Ability to conduct thorough site visits, inspect installation progress, and ensure all work meets high standards of quality.
- Skilled in ensuring the availability of all necessary materials, supplies, and tools for scheduled work.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to effectively liaise with customers, team members, and other stakeholders, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
- Experience in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training new employees, as well as conducting performance reviews and managing disciplinary actions.
- Openness to personal and professional growth, with a readiness to take on new challenges and contribute to the company's success.
- Strong inclination towards teamwork and collaboration, with a 'no task is too small' attitude.
- Values the importance of work-life harmony and is available for a Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM schedule, with no weekend shifts.
