Job Overview
No prior insurance or sales experience is required. I am seeking motivated sales agents to join my new office in Novi, MI. The office is scheduled to open in February, 2025. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting clients with their insurance needs. You will leverage your sales skills to promote various insurance products, ensuring that clients receive the best coverage tailored to their individual requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication abilities and a passion for helping others.
- Engage with clients to assess their insurance needs and recommend appropriate products.
- Conduct telemarketing efforts to generate new leads and expand the client base.
- Follow-up on leads which will be provided.
- Provide comprehensive benefits administration support, guiding clients through policy options.
- Negotiate terms and conditions of insurance policies to ensure client satisfaction.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and market conditions to effectively communicate product benefits.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and following up with clients.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance overall performance.
Requirements
- No experience is required. Property and casualty insurance license will need to be obtained before starting.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications to include, Outlook, Word, and Excel and ability to navigate computer applications.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal (in-person and over the phone) and written, with the ability to effectively convey information.
- Positive attitude.
- Proficiency in customer service principles and practices.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- An aptitude for building relationships with clients.
- Self-starter.
Pay
- $35,000 annual salary plus five percent commission on all new business. $43 - $50K should be expected.
- Additional bonus may be available depending on overall office performance.
- Hours: M-F 9:00 - 5:00
