Embedded Software Sales Assistant

We have an immediate need for an Embedded Software Sales Assistant. In this position, you will support the sales team in our Embedded Software and Systems division and ensure that all tasks relating to the preparation of quotations, orders and invoicing run smoothly

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of experience in the development of vehicle systems software/hardware.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills to communicate technical and other information to customers and team members.

• Knowledge of microcontrollers and the CAN protocol.

• Knowledge and proficiency in C/C#/C++; various compilers and debuggers.

• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink/Labview/.NET a plus

• Understanding of software design and distributed embedded computer architectures.

• Experience using/implementing automotive networking standards such as CAN, CAN FD, J1939, LIN, MOST, Ethernet, FlexRay, AUTOSAR.

• Previous experience with Vector tools (CANalyzer, CANoe, CAPL, vTESTstudio, VT System) is desirable • Basic understanding of electronic circuits as applied to automotive ECU design

• Understanding of test systems and procedures including MIL/SIL/HIL

• Ability to work in a team environment with a sense of urgency to meet and exceed customer expectations.

• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Positive outlook on themselves, their customers and all aspects of their job

• Willing to travel up to 25%; mostly local.

• B.S. in EE/SE/CE/CS or related field or equivalent combination of education/experience.

• Coordination of commercial and technical quotation content with internal interfaces and with the customer

• Creation of license overviews, price indications and quotations

• Order processing • Processing customer inquiries, both by telephone and by e-mail

• Collaborating closely with the sales engineers, for example by taking on coordination activities

• Support the continued innovation of the overall customer experience
