The Role
The Digital Development Associate at The Family and Youth Institute plays a key role in supporting and enhancing the organization's digital presence and initiatives. This position involves collaborating with various teams to implement digital strategies, manage online platforms, and contribute to the growth and effectiveness of the institute's digital programs.
Impact Areas
Website Management:
- Maintain and update the organization's website with relevant content, ensuring a user-friendly and visually appealing interface.
- Implement SEO strategies to improve online visibility and search engine rankings.
Social Media Management:
- Develop and execute social media plans to engage the target audience and promote the institute's programs.
- Monitor social media channels, respond to inquiries, and track performance metrics.
Content Creation:
- Collaborate with content creators to generate digital content such as articles, blog posts, videos, and infographics.
- Ensure consistency in brand messaging across all digital channels.
Digital Marketing:
- Assist in planning and executing digital marketing campaigns to drive awareness and participation in the institute's events and programs.
- Utilize email marketing and other online channels for outreach.
Data Analysis:
- Monitor and analyze digital performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of digital strategies.
- Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Technology Integration:
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in digital processes.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, communications, and program development, to align digital efforts with overall organizational goals.
Requirements
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in digital marketing, website management, and social media.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of digital analytics tools and SEO best practices.
- Creativity and a keen eye for design aesthetics.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
