Join Our Team as a Desktop Support Technician!

Our team is expanding, and we are on the lookout for a dedicated Desktop Support Technician to help us deliver exceptional support to our employees and maintain the efficiency of our technological resources.

Job Overview:

The Desktop Support Technician will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a passion for technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to internal teams and assist with IT-related issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
  • Perform system backups and security updates as needed.
  • Assist with onboarding new employees through IT setup.
  • Document support requests and resolutions in the ticketing system.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to enhance overall performance and user experience.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Desktop Support Technician or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with hardware setup and configurations, as well as peripheral devices.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills for hardware and software problems.
  • Good communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) are a plus.
