Shift: 2nd shift - 5:00 p.m - 3:00 a.m (Potential for 45-50 hours per week, with Saturday work as needed.)
Pay: Up to $40 hr based on experience.
Location: Canton MI

We are currently looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to fill the role of CNC Operator - Hard Turning. In this position, you'll work closely with a talented team on groundbreaking projects.
- Set up, operate, and manage Mazak CNC Hard Turn machinery.
- Load and unload materials, make basic adjustments, and change wheel packs as necessary.
- Troubleshoot and adjust programs, create and dress wheel packs.
- Follow setup sheets or customer specifications to configure machinery.
- Ensure product quality by inspecting and measuring characteristics according to part print specifications, both initially and throughout production runs.
- Clean finished parts and transfer them to subsequent operations.
- Perform regular machine maintenance and adhere to preventative maintenance schedules.
- Address and resolve equipment malfunctions, and coordinate repairs when needed.
- Carry out additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints.
- Familiarity with hand tools.
- Strong visual acuity for precise work.
- Ability to lift and maneuver up to 40 pounds and remain standing for extended periods.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in programming and developing CNC programs based on blueprints.
- Ownership of personal tools, including gauges.
- Experience working with brittle metals like carbide.
- Ability to work with Mazatrol programming.
- Capability to dress wheels for custom drives and refurbish work.
- Willingness to cross-train in different areas within 6-8 months.
