Broaching Machine Operator - Night Shift

Rassey Industries, a premier machining supplier in the automotive industry, is seeking a Broaching Machine Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining broaching machines to produce precision components for our Tier 1 and Tier 2 customers. You will be working in a modern, state-of-the-art facility in Shelby Twp, Michigan, utilizing your skills to help us maintain our reputation as a leader in the industry. Responsibilities

• Set-up and operate broaching machines according to specifications
• Verify component accuracy using measuring tools such as micrometers and gauges
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them running at optimal levels
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times
• Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and targets

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience operating broaching machines in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and technical knowledge
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Proficient in the use of measuring tools such as micrometers and gauges
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Hours from 5:30pm - 4am
