Full Job Description
Terry Matlock School of Performing Arts and affiliates are seeking a Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, managing accounts payable, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial transactions
- Process accounts payable and receivable, including collections
- Handle Payroll Processing and Accounting for 4 separate businesses with 60 plus empployees
- Reconcile bank statements and financial reports
- Assist with annual audits and other financial reviews
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to all relevant regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
