Assembly
Location: Wixom, MI
Pay: 2nd shift - $18.00/hr plus $1.00/hr shift premium
Hours - 4 p.m. - 2:30 a.m.
Job Description:
· Position and assemble parts according to work instructions.
· Measure parts to specified tolerances.
· Record parts in ERP system as required.
· Inspect all parts for cleanliness and flaws.
· Complete tags for nonconforming or scrap parts.
· Clean, assemble, disassemble, and replace parts as required.
· Ensure that glass is clean and free from smudges, debris, particulates and grease.
· Use chemicals, adhesives, solvents, lubricants, epoxies, paints, and ink, as required.
· Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
· Ensure inventory of supplies such as: cotton swabs, toothpicks, alcohol, acetone, glues, and adhesives, cleaning wipes paints and other supplies as necessary.
· Keep production supervisor advised of work status, workload, problems, and progress as related to work assignments.
· Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to Production Supervisor.
· Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
· Ability to work with small electronic parts.
· Ability to paint various small parts.
· As required package optics and accessories as required by the Bill of Materials.
· Perform other tasks as assigned.
· Print identifier on completed work as required.
· Responsible to keep track of time used, as well as clocking in and out daily.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding, follow detailed and uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

EDUCATION:
· High school diploma or equivalent, and at least 1 year of work experience.
· Ability to read and comprehend procedures written in English
