ABOUT THE ASSEMBLER - EV CHARGERS POSITION:
⚡ The Electromechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling mechanical parts, pieces, or products using a variety of tools and equipment following required specifications for the charging station.
✔️ SCHEDULE:
Full Time Job. 40 Hours / Week.
Summer Scheduling: Monday - Thursday 7:00AM - 4:30PM (9 Hours M-Th) ; Friday 8:00AM-12:00PM (half-day on Fridays)
Regular Scheduling: Monday - Friday, 7:00AM - 3:30PM
✔️ PAY RATE: $21.89 USD / HR
LOCATION
📍 Location: This is a full-time position based out of our Auburn Hills, MI manufacturing site.
WHAT YOU WILL BE LEARNING WITH FLO EV CHARGING:
- ASSEMBLY: Assemble fast charging stations following plans and schematics (e.g.: electrical panels, wiring, mechanical components)
- ASSEMBLY: Assemble our charging stations according to established procedures; complete other tasks as assigned.
- ASSEMBLY: Assemble charging station accessories (cable return system, pedestals, wall brackets)
- SOPs: Follow SOPs/operating procedures (sequences) and quality & safety procedures according to established standards
- TESTING: Handle test equipment
- PROCESS IMPROVEMENT: Participate in process improvement
- DATA ENTRY: Accurately enter information into the ERP system (Divalto)
WHAT CHARACTERIZES YOU IN THIS ROLE:
💡 Ability to follow and carry out procedures
🔌 Read mechanical, electrical and electronics drawings
🦺 Ability to be thorough, versatile, perceptive and alert, demonstrating exemplary health and safety awareness
💪 Ability to handle standard loads without physical restrictions (40-50+ LBs)
👩🏭 Experience in electromechanical assembly (mechanical, electrical or electronics) strong asset
🛠️ Ability to read and understand technical documentation and use various measuring instruments (multimeter)
📘 Ability to communicate well in English
🕣 Ability to work as a team, manage time, and meet deadlines
