A.I. Calibrations is a mobile ADAS company that is growing & looking to add another member to the team!
Calibration Technician III Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
· Perform static and dynamic ADAS Calibrations on Domestic, Asian and European vehicles onsite at customer locations
· Diagnose and troubleshoot complex calibration and non-calibration concerns (i.e. wiring issue/no communication to a module)
· Utilize OEM diagnostic scan tools to complete programming, calibrations and diagnostics
· Test drive vehicles after repairs are completed to confirm system operation and quality check
· Ability to skillfully execute quality wiring, connector, and harness repairs
· Ability to service A/C systems
· Complete pre and post scans with OE and/or aftermarket tools, communicate the results clearly and effectively to the customer
· Adequately explain ADAS calibration specifications and repair planning needs; to include collision repair center personnel, insurance adjusters, and direct customers
· Basic knowledge of how to remove and install vehicle parts (i.e. bumpers, trim panels, mirrors)
· Communicate with the rest of the field team to ensure efficiency and productivity
· Responsible for ensuring tooling software updates are completed
· Accountable for and responsible for maintaining assigned inventory (including vehicles, mobile devices, laptops, VCIs and other equipment provided)
· Participate in virtual (online) training sessions
· Complete assigned training and certifications. Maintain active State of Michigan Automotive Electrical License & Automotive Air Conditioning License.
· Develop and maintain excellent customer relationships through our company purpose and core values
· Flexibility in working well independently as well as collaboratively
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
· Basic computer knowledge including email, spreadsheet and messaging systems (required)
· Valid and clean Driver License (required)
· High school degree or GED equivalent (required)
· 5+ years related service technician experience – electrical diagnostics specifically (required)
· Active State of Michigan Automotive Electrical License (required)
· Active Automotive Air Conditioning License (required)
· ASE ADAS Certification (preferred – otherwise required to obtain within in first 6 months)

· Must be able to lift 60 pounds independently
· Travel may be required for continuing education and certification training
· Requires standing for extended periods of time with frequent stretching, reaching, walking, and stooping
· Requires frequent driving of company and customer vehicles
· Extensive travel within assigned area is expected
· May have exposure to fumes, dust, and chemicals
· Ability to work in a shop environment in inclement weather
· Required to wear PPE to include but not limited to facial covering, eye protection, gloves
