Full Job Description
The Sales Operations Manager will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Salesforce system and sales processes to support our sales, finance, marketing, and customer success teams. This role involves developing and maintaining efficient workflows, calculating and tracking commissions, and ensuring data integrity. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in sales operations, with at least 3 years focused on commission calculation. Preference given to East Coast candidates.
· Salesforce & Tech Stack Optimization: Develop and enhance Salesforce infrastructure and processes to build a scalable, data-driven system supporting sales, finance, marketing, and customer success.
· Commission Tracking & Calculation: Accurately track, calculate, and validate sales team commissions for field representatives and sales development representatives. Ensure timely and accurate disbursement, handle discrepancies, and maintain comprehensive records for audits and reporting.
· Sales Operations Management: Implement and manage sales operations strategies and workflows, track performance metrics, and communicate insights to business partners.
· Data Management: Enforce data hygiene and integrity across sales systems to ensure accuracy and consistency. Create and maintain reports and dashboards to monitor performance and KPIs for reps, teams, and departments.
· Feature Requests & Integrations: Identify, plan, and prioritize end-user feature requests, evaluate vendors, and manage integrations.
· Cross-Departmental Collaboration & Industry Knowledge: Participate in strategic meetings, stay updated on industry best practices, and support continued growth with new technologies.
· Deal Desk Support: Assist with contracts, RFPs, and other Deal Desk requirements.
Requirements
· Experience: Minimum of 5 years in sales operations, with extensive experience in Salesforce administration, including the development of workflows and process optimization. As well as at least 3 years of specific experience in commission calculation and management.
· Technical Skills: Proficiency in Salesforce, including report and dashboard creation, workflow automation, and data management. Strong understanding of sales tech stacks and CRM functions.
· Analytical Skills: Proven ability to track, calculate, and validate commissions, analyze performance metrics, and enforce data integrity.
· Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in conveying performance insights and collaborating across departments.
· Project Management: Experience managing end-user feature requests, vendor evaluations, and system integrations. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks effectively.
· Industry Knowledge: Up-to-date with best practices, emerging technologies, and industry trends to support growth and evolving business needs.
Salary Range: $100K-$120K, some flexibility for the right candidate
