About the Role:
We are looking for a tenacious and highly motivated Principal SDR to join our Sales Development team. As a Principal SDR, you will be responsible for building and qualifying a pipeline through high-volume prospecting activities, conducting discovery conversations with potential customers, and collaborating closely with the sales team to drive revenue growth.
- Perform outbound sales activities, including cold calling, email campaigns, and social selling, to generate and qualify leads and create pipeline
- Engage prospects in discovery conversations to understand their needs and identify opportunities for Allego’s Modern Revenue Enablement Platform
- Conduct high-level product demonstrations to pique interest and set appointments for the sales team
- Partner with Account Executives to target and penetrate key accounts
- Utilize Salesforce.com and other sales tools to track activity, document conversations, and manage leads
- Work closely with marketing to drive attendance and interest in webinars, events, and other lead generation campaigns
- Meet or exceed weekly/monthly/quarterly targets for qualified opportunities created
- Continually develop product knowledge and sales skills to become a trusted authority on Allego and sales enablement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, to support revenue growth and customer success initiatives
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:
- 4+ years of sales or business development experience, preferably in B2B SaaS
- Proven track record of success in a high-volume prospecting environment
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Self-motivated with a relentless determination to achieve targets
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Experience with sales engagement tools such as Outreach, SalesLoft, or similar platforms
- Familiarity with CRM systems, such as Salesforce.com
