In this role, you will support our operations by managing the online booking system, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be proficient in using various online platforms and tools. As an Online Booking Assistant, your daily tasks will involve confirming reservations, addressing client inquiries, and maintaining up-to-date records of bookings and availability.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the online booking system for accuracy and efficiency.
- Confirm and process client reservations and bookings in a timely manner.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries through email and chat regarding bookings.
- Update and manage availability calendars for services offered.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any booking system issues that arise.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless booking experiences for clients.
- Provide support for marketing efforts by managing promotional offers and discounts.
Requirements
- Proven experience in customer service or online booking roles.
- Strong proficiency in using online booking systems and software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and organization.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with the travel or hospitality industry is a plus.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and other office productivity tools.
