Full Job Description
The PM / BA will serve as an on-location project leader with our client, the City of Boston. This individual must be able to work on-site in downtown Boston as needed. The individual will be responsible for managing project timelines, resources, and stakeholder communications, while also performing workflow analysis, quality assurance, and training. The individual must be willing to learn and perform no-code configuration on the Creatio BPM / CRM platform (https://creatio.com). The project will last an estimated 12 to 15 months with a possibility of follow-on work.
- Contractual role.
- Training and experience on the no-code Creatio BPM / CRM platform.
- Work from home an estimated 50% of the workweek (with requirement to be in downtown Boston as needed for client service).
- Project Management:
- Lead and manage our no-code BPM / CRM project, ensuring it is delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Build strong relationships of mutual respect and trust across multiple City of Boston (COB) departments and with the Keen360 delivery executive / solution architect.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and resource assignments.
- Run a daily cadence of team meetings. With your COB counterpart, run weekly PMO meetings and monthly Steering Committee meetings.
- Coordinate the activities of multiple delivery teams composed of Keen360 personnel and a specialized subcontractor.
- Maintain a register or log of action items, issues, and risks.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet project objectives.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to team members, project leaders, and stakeholders from multiple organizations.
- Business Analysis:
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
- Develop functional specifications and process maps to guide development teams.
- Conduct gap analysis to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
- Collaborate with developers, testers, and business users to ensure requirements are understood and met.
- Assist in the preparation of user acceptance testing (UAT) plans and support UAT activities.
Requirements
- College degree, preferably but not necessarily including coursework related to computer science.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in PM / BA roles. A strong BA without formal experience as a PM but with demonstrated organizational and communication skills is acceptable for consideration.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects that follow Agile (i.e., iterative) methods.
- Strong analytical skills, especially workflow analysis and information architecture (i.e., entity attributes and relationships).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated experience in leading training sessions and performing quality assurance.
- Proficiency in project management tools.
- Ability to work as needed in downtown Boston; also as needed to lead a globally distributed team (Eastern Europe, Caribbean, and USA).
- PMP, CBAP, or similar certifications are a modest plus, as Keen360 values experience over certifications.
