FreightPlus is seeking energetic and motivated Business Development / Lead Generation Reps. In these roles, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities for the Company's managed transportation services business. Our Business Development / Lead Gen Reps play a crucial role building our sales pipeline beginning with initial prospect contact and qualification. We are growing rapidly (300%+ y/y) and looking for candidates with 2 years of prior business development experience – managed transportation experience is a plus. This position focuses entirely on developing new business opportunities. Candidates must be self-starters who have demonstrated experience successfully prospecting new business utilizing effective solution selling strategies. Must have experience consistently achieving results by following a defined sales process while continuing to learn and develop new skills in an exciting, dynamic complex and changing marketplace. You should have strong time management skills fueled by a sense of urgency.
These positions are budgeted for Q1 2024 hires.
Qualified candidates must reside in Greater Boston Metro area.
Requirements
- 6 months of sales development experience in a B2B environment
- Must be able to work full time in our N. Quincy, MA office.
- Previous work in Logistics Industry sales is a plus.
- Previous telephone experience a must.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Disciplined approach to daily activity planning, setting goals and achieving success.
- Ability to take direction, be coached and mentored.
- Possess a hunter’s mentality prospecting for new business.
- Experience with or ability to learn applications such as Microsoft Office, Zoho, Zoominfo, and LinkedIn
- BS, BA degree or equivalent.
