Ripple Effect is looking for a Talent Sourcing and Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources (HR) Department and support our clients’ missions in biomedical research and health/healthcare support. This role will work closely with the HR team as well as with leadership and hiring managers to strategically recruit for government contracting positions in science, project management, communications, evaluation, and information technology (IT), leveraging advanced sourcing techniques to identify and engage high-quality candidates and establishing pipelines of talent and engaged networks to support both current and future workforce needs.

Responsibilities
- Serve as primary point of contact for the sourcing and engagement of applicants from a variety of channels (social media networks, professional organizations, specialty job boards, etc.) to build pipelines based on experience and networks.
- Observe trends in the labor market and advise hiring managers on how to select the right positions to capitalize on trends and bring the best talent to Ripple Effect.
- Actively promote Ripple Effect externally through professional networks (including in-person events) and professional social media channels, especially in science and healthcare markets.
- Coordinate with hiring managers to understand position requirements and desired candidate profiles for a variety of technical and non-technical roles, advising of strategies that maximize talent pools.
- Identify and recommend optimal outreach activities and events. Work with corporate communications to develop and distribute materials for events and outreach.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations and security clearance requirements in the talent acquisition process.
- Perform a wide variety of recruiting-related tasks including corresponding with candidates, screening for minimum qualifications, conducting phone screens, scheduling interviews, and providing thoughtful candidate evaluations.
- Assist with collecting, tracking and reporting on key departmental metrics and hiring status.
- Contribute to human resource practices that support a diverse, equitable and inclusive environment.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree
- 6 years of relevant professional experience
- At least 3 years’ experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS)
- At least 2 years’ experience sourcing passive candidates
Basic Requirements
- Demonstrated networking skills and ability to source and secure high-caliber talent in competitive job markets, especially science and health care markets
- Previous experience and proficiency with advanced sourcing platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter
- Experience networking and building relationships through various platforms, including social media, job boards, career fairs, etc.
- Strong understanding of recruiting life cycle, with experience executing tasks for the efficient management of position pipelines
- Comprehensive knowledge of sourcing and recruitment best practices
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, capable of managing multiple recruitment actions and ensuring compliance with federal hiring practices
- Exceptional customer service skills and a professional communication style (verbal and written)
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook, Teams)
- Strong understanding of labor market conditions as well as scientific and health job markets
- Previous experience with recruiting in the Government Contracting Industry and the unique challenges and requirements of recruiting within this sector
- Must be able and willing to report to Ripple Headquarters office (Rockville, MD) 1-2 days per week
