Safety and Quality Control Specialist

• Evaluate procedures and equipment used in the field by conducting inspections to identify unsafe conditions and takes the necessary corrective actions to remedy the situation.
• Visit jobsites to ensure the safety of team members, subcontractors, and the general public.
• Ensure visits are documented and any unsatisfactory conditions remedied timely.
• Identify any unsafe conditions and provide guidance for the necessary corrective actions.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure materials meet the specifications for the project and are being installed as directed by our clients and the material manufacturers.
• Provide on-site basic training to remedy unsafe conditions.
• Assist in the development and implementation of site-specific safety and quality programs.
• Assist with determining training needs/deficiencies and identifying priorities for trainings.
• Lead investigation of incidents, near misses, and client safety concerns and prepare appropriate reports.
• Contribute to the ongoing continuous improvement of health and safety programs.
• Participate in safety calls both internally and with our clients.
• Perform all duties in accordance with health, safety, and quality guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
