- Salary Range: $83,539.00 to $96,069.00 per year (how we pay and promote)
Responsibilities
- Develops compliant HR policies that align with federal, state, local and contractual mandates.
- Develops efficient and repeatable HR procedures that ensure consistent and high-quality collection and processing of HR-related data and legally mandated reporting.
- Prepares employee communications regarding compensation, benefits, company policies or employee relations, including complex HR or legal issues.
- Counsel employees and supervisors about work-related issues and assists employees to correct job-skill deficiencies.
- Investigates employee complaints by collecting information or conducting research.
- Supervises Human Resource Associates on the day-to-day performance in their role.
- Ensures that department goals and milestones are met and adhere to approved budgets.
- Contributes to human resource practices that support a diverse, equitable and inclusive environment.
- Actively promotes company externally through professional networks and professional social media channels.
- Administers and manages HR systems and processes, including HRIS, ATS, payroll, benefits administration, and leave management
- Participate in the development and implementation of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in HR
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements
Minimum Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field
- 6 years' relevant experience
- SHRM or equivalent certifications, or advanced education or experience
Basic Requirements
- Strong knowledge of relevant HR local, state, federal and contractual laws impacting the organization.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent time management skills with proven ability to independently meet deadlines
- 2 years' experience with a payroll system or HRIS required
- 2 years' experience with a company that provides services through contracts
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
Skills that Set You Apart
- Experience with UKG Ready
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven, strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- At least two years' experience in the government contracting/consulting field
- Some supervisory experience
- Personal or supervisory experience with the full range of HR functions
- More than one relevant certification with advanced education and experience in the HR field
