Head of Collections

Our client, a rapidly growing organization, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Collections to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the collections department, driving efficiency and effectiveness in the collections process, and implementing strategies to optimize recovery rates and minimize delinquency.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the collections department, including hiring, training, and performance management of staff
• Develop and implement collections strategies to improve recovery rates and reduce delinquency
• Optimize collections policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Analyze data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for process improvements
• Work closely with other departments, such as credit and risk management, to develop and implement strategies for risk mitigation
• Prepare and present regular reports on collections performance to senior management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in collections, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of collections best practices, laws, and regulations
• Proven track record of improving collections performance and reducing delinquency
• Excellent leadership and management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
