Internship Overview:
Our internship program is designed to invest in the future generation of talent. This eleven-week program is centered around the principles of continuous learning, financial stewardship, building relationships, and community involvement, striving to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our interns and the communities we serve.
Position Summary
The Human Resources (HR) Intern will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various HR functions while supporting the team in daily activities. This internship provides exposure to recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, training, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with candidates.
- Help prepare new hire packets, conduct onboarding orientations, and ensure new employees feel welcomed.
- Explore innovative HR tools to enhance the delivery of programs and improve efficiencies.
- Support in planning and executing team member engagement initiatives, events, and surveys.
- Maintain and update team member records and HR databases.
- Ensure adherence to HR policies and procedures..
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team.
- Assist in special projects and initiatives as needed.
- Explore innovative HR tools to enhance the delivery of programs and improve efficiencies.
- Represent the Family of Companies in conduct and appearance in a courteous, professional manner.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree with a focus on human resources, business, or another related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to the HR function.
