Full Job Description
The Customer Service Representative is a part of a team that supports Geoprobe® products and services throughout the environmental and geotechnical industries. Specifically, this individual will interact with customers in person and over the phone providing technical information about Geoprobe® products, determining customer needs, quoting, and placing orders. Geoprobe® manufactures technical drilling machines and tooling and seeks candidates who are mechanically inclined, comfortable running equipment, and are effective speaking to a group about the benefits of using our products.
Responsibilities
- Ability to communicate complex machine and tooling systems in person or over the phone in a way that a casual user can understand.
- Accurately enter customer tooling orders.
- Prepare machine and tooling quotes for customers, partnering with the customer to define their needs.
- Demonstrate and explain benefits of Geoprobe® brand equipment and tooling to potential customers.
- Train customers on proper use of equipment, tooling, and applications.
- Work with outside sales representatives to support efforts in their region.
- Enter follow-up notes of customer interactions into CRM software.
- Drive trucks to and from events as needed.
- Travel 2-3 weeks per year.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements

- Confident in mobilizing and running equipment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills internal and external customers; ability to listen with a desire to understand.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-up.
- Hands-on mechanical skills with an emphasis on technical knowledge.
- Computer Skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Self-motivated and committed to team success.
- Willing to travel to meet with or train customers.
- Physically able to load and unload heavy objects.
- CDL preferred.
- SAP experience helpful.
- Able to work 45 hours/week on average.
- Verbal and written communications skills preferred in both English and Spanish
*Hands-on product training will be the primary initial focus of this position.
