Certified Nursing Assistant| Telemetry

NCG Associates, a trusted healthcare staffing company, is currently seeking compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) with experience in Telemetry to join our team. As a Telemetry CNA at NCG Associates, you will play a crucial role in providing essential care and monitoring to patients in a telemetry unit.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms and vital signs of patients in a telemetry unit
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and eating
• Transfer patients safely to and from beds, wheelchairs, and other equipment
• Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
• Help patients with range of motion exercises and physical therapy routines
• Observe and report any changes in patients' condition or behavior to the nursing staff
• Ensure patients' rooms are clean and tidy
• Assist with documenting patient information and maintaining accurate records
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean environment
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care

Requirements

• Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of practice
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 Years LTC / Skilled Nursing/ Rehab experience
• Knowledge of telemetry monitoring equipment and practices
• Ability to interpret and respond to cardiac rhythms
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Physical endurance and ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years LTC/ Skilled Nursing/Rehab experiences 

Experience Preferred:1 year Acute care Exp 

License Required: KS CNA License

Certificate Required: BLS Certificate
