Responsibilities
- Assist with monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms and vital signs of patients in a telemetry unit
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and eating
- Transfer patients safely to and from beds, wheelchairs, and other equipment
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Help patients with range of motion exercises and physical therapy routines
