The Iowa Primary Care Association is seeking a dedicated and skilled outpatient Family Medicine Physician to join the team today.
About Community Health Centers:
Community health center are a cornerstone of comprehensive primary care, serving as a critical resource for medically under-resourced communities.
They integrate medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services to ensure their patients receive coordinated, all-encompassing care, often all under one roof.
Position Details:
Clinic Hours:
- Monday - Thursday: 8AM - 7PM; Friday: 8AM - 5PM; Saturday: 8AM - 12PM
- Your schedule: 40 hours within the above clinic hours.
- Evenings: none
Call Schedule: Rotates 1 week at a time amongst provider team; phone only
Patient Load: average 16 patients/day
Appointments: 20 minutes
Team: 1 FM Physician, 3 ARNPs, 3 Physician Assistants, 1 RN, 1.5 MA.
EHR: Epic
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive outpatient care to patients of all ages.
- Conduct routine check-ups, diagnose illnesses, and develop treatment plans.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board eligible or board certified in Family Medicine
- Valid state medical license.
Benefits
- Student Loan Repayment Programs: Eligible for up to $75,000 for 2 years of service with an option to renew. Additional $5,000 if you are bilingual in Spanish.
- Salary range: Starting at $200,000 - $240,000 based on experience.
- Contract duration: 2 years with 1 year renewal.
