Truck Driver

We’re a building material distributor helping businesses and homeowners feel peace of mind about their construction, remodeling and building maintenance projects. We have an immediate need for a truck driver to deliver our products to residential and commercial construction sites in the greater Evansville area. This delivery driver will follow routes that can typically be completed within a standard business day. There is no overnight or weekend driving required for this role.

As a delivery driver, you are the critical last step to transporting our products to our customers in a safe and timely manner. Since we operate our business on trust and long-term relationships, you must be courteous and professional when interacting with our customers. You are a key contributor to the positive experience our customers should expect from us. This position is perfect for you if you enjoy working outdoors, driving trucks and helping people.

This role requires you to be detail-oriented and organized to track the logistical details of your route. Additionally, you must be able to complete both written and electronic delivery records.

You must follow applicable federal and state driving laws and comply with company health and safety policies. We take the safety of our employees very seriously, and we expect you to do the same.

This role can be physically demanding at times. You must be able to help with loading and unloading building materials, so you must be in good physical health and capable of lifting and moving heavy objects.

Requirements

• Valid chauffeur’s license or for hire endorsement license required, CDL-A Preferred.
• Good driving record with no traffic violations.
• Strong time management skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
