Registered Vascular Sonographer

As a Registered Vascular Sonographer at USA Clinics Group, you will be responsible for performing vascular ultrasound examinations on a patient's lower extremities (and other studies as needed). Your role will involve maintaining an efficient workflow, balancing patient needs, and ensuring an excellent service experience.

Responsibilities:

• Perform ultrasound examinations of patients to create a Venous Flow Map for recommending a safe and effective treatment plan
• Assist the Physician in explaining the treatment plan to the patient and addressing their specific needs
• Set up and clean procedure rooms, exam rooms, and ultrasound rooms before and after each patient
• Perform additional ultrasound examinations as required to ensure the effectiveness of treatment and patient safety
• Adhere to standard time allotments for each type of ultrasound exam to maintain efficient patient flow
• Collaborate with office staff, administrative staff, and Physicians to review the ultrasound schedule and ensure availability of ultrasound technicians for timely and safe patient care
• Develop and maintain quality of work and skills through continued education and interaction with other Ultrasound Technologists
• Maintain equipment and manage supply inventory for effective operations
• Perform any additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Certificate of Completion from an accredited Ultrasound program is Required
• Registered Vascular Technologist, Registered Vascular Specialist, or Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RVT / RVS / RpHS) or ability to earn certification within 30 days of hire (Required)
• Cultural sensitivity and excellent patient care skills
• Ability to work well in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and work as part of a team
