Aspire Medical Staffing is currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at the Community Living Center (CLC) at the VA Northern Indiana Health Care System.
The Community Living Center provides long-term care services for veterans who require skilled nursing care. As a Registered Nurse at Aspire Medical Staffing, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to our veteran population.

VA Northern Indiana Health Care System -
- Marion Campus: 1700 E 38th Street, Marion, IN 46953
HOURS OF OPERATION:
- VA Business Hours: VA business hours/hours of operation are 24 hours a day, 7 days a week including holidays.
- Work Schedule: Shift tours and hours will vary depending on the unit.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Community Living Center (CLC): RNs assigned to work on community living center will be responsible for patient assessments, medication administration, IV therapy, interdisciplinary team coordination, admissions, discharges, internal and external transfers, delegating to assistive personnel, electronic medical record documentation, patient transport, and emergency response procedures.
- Assess and monitor the health status of patients in the Community Living Center
- Develop and implement care plans that address the physical, emotional, and social needs of patients
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduation from a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate State-accrediting agency and accredited by one of the following accrediting bodies at the time the program was completed by the applicant: The accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
- A current license in at least one (1) state, territory, or commonwealth in the U.S. or the District of Columbia.
- Current certification in BLS by an American Health Association Vendor.
- A minimum of one (1) year of direct patient care experience within the last three (3) years.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
