Forward March Inc. is partnering with a leading aerospace company seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Manager to join our team. As a Quality Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective quality control processes, conducting inspections, and analyzing data to identify areas for improvement. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery parts, components, and finished products to ensure they meet specified quality criteria
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine root causes of quality issues and develop solutions to prevent recurrence
- Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement in product quality and provide recommendations to management
- Establish and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports, test procedures, and quality records
- Train and educate employees on quality standards and best practices to ensure a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Lead and manage a team of quality assurance technicians to ensure efficient and effective inspection and testing processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
- 5 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in Aerostructures
- Must be able to travel internationally
- Proven experience in quality management within the machinery industry
- Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, tools, and techniques
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in using quality assurance software and tools
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure
