Note: We are currently filling one opening that could be based out of various Beacon offices in Indiana with available office space. We will also strongly consider a hybrid telecommute arrangement as deemed appropriate. The employee must be willing to travel and be in person for training, meetings with project stakeholders/vendors, etc.

Role
To plan, track and manage the delivery of business systems solutions as it relates to IT projects and business initiatives requiring IT resource allocation. This includes project planning, scoping, budget estimating, identifying/managing resource allocation, defining variables, managing project scope creep, and delivering solutions within budget. Individual will work closely with IT leadership and business unit leadership throughout the organization to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of systems solutions deployed in support of business goals and objectives. Position will ensure appropriate management, staff, and vendor involvement throughout the life of the project, including keeping executives and project stakeholders informed of project progress and issues. Position will manage project schedules, task details, and utilize project management tools such as reports, tracking charts, checklists, and project scheduling software. To provide software and systems training to staff members as needed.

Major Duties And Responsibilities

· Plans and leads IT projects and business initiatives requiring IT resource allocation, including defining the project priorities, scope, approach, resource requirements, timing deliverables and budget based on meeting predetermined project objectives. Documents written project plan with defined timelines and goals.

· Works closely with management to recommend appropriate project team members that will be required to complete the project objectives. Assures that all team members understand their roles and accept their responsibilities. Provides coordination, direction, and administrative tasks to project team.

· Collaborates with VP IT Engineering on project resources and strategies according to the project plan to achieve the required project objectives. Helps to arbitrate and resolve conflict and issues within the project.

· Tracks and reports on progress of plan. Keeps all project stakeholders, including team members and management, informed of progress and issues.

· Works with management to identify recommendations and coordinates management and technical decisions required to achieve the project goals.

· Reviews the actual performance against the plan and works with management on adjustments consistent with plan objectives.

· Completes administrative and "mechanical" tasks in a project.

· Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications
Three to five years of similar or related experience
Bachelor’s degree in project management, Business, or a related field
Certified associate in project management (CAPM) certification or equivalent recommended or to be attained within 1 year of holding position.
Ability to work well independently and with little to no supervision.
Excellent communication skills (with both internal and external personnel)
Significant level of trust and diplomacy
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.

Standard position hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
