Responsibilities

  • Responsible for programming, maintaining and safeguarding the various control systems in the plant (e.g., Aspen tech, Delta V, Allen Bradley PLC’s and motor drives, etc.)
  • Coordinates with Scheduling, Operations and Maintenance for installing and or modifying equipment control systems.
  • Provides technical support to other company personnel regarding the specific projects under his/her responsibility.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve process control issues in a timely manner.
  • Work with IT Engineer to maintain server performance and software security updates
  • Implement, update, and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect the Operations Technology (OT) environment.
  • Maintain and update ACAD site electrical drawings.

Requirements

  • Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in process controls engineering within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of process control principles and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in using process control software and programming languages.
  • Experience with automation systems and equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Responsible for providing support 24/7 (must be accessible)
