Phone Triage RN - Adult

The Opportunity

• Triage incoming telephone calls and complete care from afterhours calls.
• Conduct telephone nursing assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans.
• Advocate for patient/family needs and monitor for healthcare related outcomes.
• Participate in a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Under the direction of a physician, instructs patients on emergent care and medications and reports patient response to treatment to physician.
• Communicates lab and testing results to patients/families.
• Manage prescription refills under the direction of a physician.
• Documents encounters in the electronic medical record (EMR) system

Requirements

• Completion of an approved nursing program
• Minimum 2 years of related experience
• Valid RN license in the state of Indiana
• Valid Indiana Driver’s license and automobile insurance

Our center has more than 50 clinical research projects involving bleeding disorders, sickle cell disease, thrombosis and more.
