Dr. Tavel Family Eye Care is seeking Optometrists to join our team! When you join Dr. Tavel, you are joining an inclusive and family focused team. We thrive in an environment that empowers team members to excel by continuously offering training and growth opportunities. We are a well-respected, family-owned multi-location practice that has been serving Hoosiers since 1940. If you are looking to grow with a private practice that's backed by a local corporate office, look no further! We have the practice for you!

Over the years, Dr. Tavel has experienced amazing growth and expanded to 24 locations across the state to help better serve the communities in which we practice. Each location offers a range of eye health services that help patients correct and protect their vision. Our practice mission is to provide Indiana families with top quality, affordable eye health services, and eye care products while delivering outstanding patient service. Each office has a team of Opticians ready to help! The corporate office acts as a strong support system with teams including patient success, billing, IT, marketing, community outreach, human resources, and office operations. This allows our doctors to focus on their passion, the patients.

To ensure the best doctor and patient experience, our offices utilize autorefractors, non-contact tonometry, and digital visual acuity charts. Each Optometrist receives an iPad with cloud-based practice management and electronic health records software to enable a seamless process at every touchpoint of the patient experience. Specific locations are also equipped with advanced technology including OPTOS, OCT, HVF and Virtual Field, Topography, Telemed, and digital phoropter.
