Material Handler

Forward March Inc. is partnering with a leading company in the manufacturing industry and is seeking a highly motivated Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain and logistics operations, ensuring the efficient movement and storage of materials and products.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of the materials
• Prepare materials for production by packaging, labeling, and organizing them
• Load and unload materials onto trucks or other transportation vehicles
• Properly store materials in designated locations, ensuring inventory accuracy
• Retrieve and deliver materials to production areas as needed
• Keep inventory records updated and assist with regular inventory counts
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to all company policies and procedures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production schedules

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience as a Material Handler or in a warehouse role is preferred
• Knowledge of inventory management systems and processes
• Ability to operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
• Physical stamina to perform lifting and moving of heavy materials
