The successful candidate will be able to perform a variety of tasks related to production and quality control..

Responsibilities:

• New hire starting to learn assigned machine. 
• Beginning to learn TydenBrooks policies and procedures and core values. 
• Becoming competent in assigned machine. 
• Following all safety procedures and PPE requirements. 
• Learning to understand job travelers and B.O.M requirements. 
• Learning the quality procedures and how to verify quality of product through use of measuring devices and following guidelines of Product Quality Sheets for product being run. 
• Learning how to properly fill out required documents to record efficiencies, quality, and preventative maintenance. 
• Learning all safety devices, guards, and sensors of assigned machine. Stop production and notify supervision if any of the safety devices have been found defective or not working. 
• Learning to properly read and follow the schedule for assigned machine. 
• Learning to communicate any issues of concern to team lead or supervisor or maintenance. 
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation utilizing 5S and lean manufacturing practices. 
• Ability to distinguish between colors. 
• Learning to maintain an above 85% efficiency for assigned machine. 
• Follow work instructions as set out by the Supervisors and Managers

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred. 

• Able to read and understand the specifics of a Job Traveler. 

• Must be able to read and understand a Bill of Materials. 

Preferred competencies: 

• Proficient computer skills with Basic Knowledge of MS Office and effective communication skills. 
• Can function effectively with minimal supervision - has initiative to complete tasks without direction.
