Logistics Manager
Polyram Compounds, LLC is seeking a skilled and experienced Logistics Manager to join our team. The Logistics Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our logistics operations, including transportation, distribution, and inventory management. The ideal candidate has a strong background in logistics management, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to optimize the supply chain to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement logistics strategies and processes to optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Manage and coordinate transportation of goods, including inbound and outbound shipments.
- Oversee warehouse and inventory management to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
- Collaborate with suppliers and carriers to negotiate contracts and secure cost-effective transportation solutions.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, carriers, and customers.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Manage and develop a team of logistics professionals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in logistics management or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of transportation, distribution, and inventory management.
