Full Job Description

As an Internal Medicine Physician, you will collaborate with a team of experienced adult hematologists to care for patients with non-malignant hematologic diagnoses such as thrombosis, hemoglobinopathies, and nutrient deficiencies.

This is primarily a Monday-Friday, 8a-5p position based at our clinic. Uniquely, IHTC physicians have the ability to dedicate as much time as needed to patients during appointments, rather than focusing on metrics or patient volume analytics - base compensation is without regard to production.

The Opportunity

  • Diagnosis and care of adult patients with non-malignant hematologic diagnoses, such as thrombosis, hemoglobinopathies, and nutrient deficiencies.
  • Follow-up of consult patients seen in the hospital.
  • Minimal clinical oversight and supervision of nursing staff, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants (as needed and based on experience).
  • Serve as subject-matter expert (as needed and based on experience).

This position may require occasional travel for outreach clinics, company events, and conferences.

Requirements

  • Physician licensure in the state of Indiana required.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine required.
  • Completion of Internal Medicine residency required.
