Full Job Description
Our client, a municipal organization in the Indianapolis area, is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their team.
Reporting to the Controller and Utility CFO, the Financial Analyst will:
- Lead revenue collections throughout multiple departments
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports
- Complete monthly bank reconciliation according to utility/city policy
- Develop financial plans and reports for department heads and managers
- Develop automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data
The salary range for this position is $58,000 - $68,000 annually
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2 or more years of professional experience as a financial analyst, accountant, or auditor
- Deep understanding of GAAP principles and auditing standards
- Proficient with financial and office-related software programs
- Working knowledge of fund accounting
