Job Summary:
The Sales Manager plays a critical role in growing Prince Industries by establishing budgets, managing relationships with top customers, and leading the identification and capture of new and strategic opportunities. This role involves supporting the sales cycle across several A&D business units, engaging with top customers, conducting sales reporting and data analysis, and implementing a strategy to dominate our chosen markets. As a Sales Manager, you will help grow Prince Industries, solve problems, and ensure customer satisfaction by providing exceptional sales leadership, coaching, and support to your team and customers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives, focusing on increasing market share and revenue growth.
- Identify and target new business opportunities within the machining industry, including potential clients in aerospace, medical, and other sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Lead and manage the sales team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they meet their sales targets and professional development goals.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust sales strategies to stay ahead of industry developments.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with company initiatives, ensuring a cohesive approach to market penetration.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes, balancing company profitability with customer satisfaction.
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote the company's products and services and expand the client base.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager in the machining or manufacturing industry, with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- 8+ years of experience in sales and management experience.
- Strong understanding of machining processes, products, and market dynamics, with the ability to communicate technical information effectively.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
- Ability to lead and motivate a sales team to achieve targets, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
