IT Specialist

Batch Freight is looking for a knowledgeable IT Specialist to join our team and support our technology infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our IT systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and support for all staff. Your expertise in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues will be crucial in keeping our operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in IT support, excellent communication skills, and a passion for technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
• Maintain and troubleshoot IT systems, ensuring high availability and performance
• Install, configure, and update software and applications
• Monitor system performance and security, implementing improvements as needed
• Create and maintain user accounts, access permissions, and documentation
• Assist in the implementation of IT projects and upgrades
• Train staff on new technologies and software tools

Requirements

• Proven experience as an IT Specialist or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, and security protocols
• Familiarity with database management and software applications
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to train and assist non-technical users
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
