Human Supports of Idaho, a partner practice of Behavioral Health Solutions, is seeking a Certified Peer Support Specialist who is excited and motivated to assist others in their journey toward recovery. If you are an individual who is well-grounded in your own recovery of mental health concerns, substance use, trauma, or other lived-experience you can help others by sharing your story. Peer Specialists are essential team members who provide valuable insight as part of the collection of services offered at our agency.

Job Duties
Create a safe and trusting space to build rapport with participants and their designated supports
- Complete various assessments, treatment plans, reviews, and progress notes in a timely manner
- Effectively collaborate and communicate with treatment providers and staff
- Maintain confidentiality of verbal and written communication
- Adhere to HSI policies and procedures as well as the NASW Code of Ethics
- Effectively navigate Electronic Medical Record systems (Athena. Training will be provided in house)
- Complete 10 CEUs annually

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Certification as a Peer Support Specialist (as determined by BPA Health).
- No more than 2 driving violations within the past 3 years.
- No DUI or reckless driving within the last 5 years.
- Pass a Health & Welfare Enhanced criminal history background check.
- Employees must carry adequate insurance necessary to cover any injury to the participant in the event of an accident. This coverage must have minimum liability coverage of $100,000 per person / $300,000 per accident.
- Computer literate.
- Positive, organized, self-driven attitude.
Preferred Skills
- Additional certificates as a youth peer support or family peer support.
- Spanish language fluency.
