Marketing Assistant

CBH Homes is seeking an exceptional and organized Marketing Assistant to support our Marketing Director and Team, and contribute to our Marketing initiatives and success. 

This dynamic and fast-paced role requires a proactive, highly efficient, and detail-oriented person who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and get things done.

Requirements

The Marketing Assistant will:

• Help the Marketing Team create content for social media and other communications.
• This may include filming (iphone), taking photos, researching and writing using AI, and more, to help our Marketing Specialists create relevant and engaging content.
• Help with Marketing reports and analytics.
• Research a variety of topics.
• Provide Marketing support to our Sales team by helping with activities like creating / writing marketing emails, texts, templates, etc. 
• Help Design basic marketing material (in Canva) like flyers.
• Manage Asana calendar and tasks for marketing activity.
• Contribute to monthly Marketing Brainstorm sessions and Marketing meetings by sharing ideas and input.
• Provide support and assistance to the Marketing Director, including:
• Weekly + Monthly reports
• Meeting agendas and follow-up
• Email and calendar management
• Spreadsheets, Google Drive, Google Docs, online file organization  
• Presentations
• Responding to advertising and other inquiries
• Other various communications and actions

A successful Marketing Assistant will possess the following characteristics:

• Has marketing interest / experience.  
• Is highly organized and can handle multiple projects at once.
• Is great at anticipating what might be needed and what is next.
• Experienced with Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, PowerPoint, Google Drive, and Google Calendar.
• Knows how to handle email like a boss.
• Enjoys supporting others and can communicate expectations and meet deadlines.
• Is friendly and professional. 
• Has experience with social media creation, including Hootesuite, Canva, and all social media platforms.
• Is willing to happily serve others. What does this mean? It means helping with a smile. Opening a door. Grabbing coffee for a visitor. Seeing someone’s need and proudly fulfilling it.
• Is a go-getter. Willing to go beyond an email or text, and seek the answers, either in person or on the phone, to get the job done.
• Is dependable. The type of person that if you say you'll be there at 8:00 am, you're there at 7:45 am, ready to go.
• Is always pushing to get things done and get amazing results.
• Has excellent written and verbal skills, tact, and poise with interpersonal communication.
• Is great with change. Our company as a whole is extremely forward-thinking and tech-savvy. We are always willing to try a new software/web service/tool if it is better than what we are currently using. We challenge the old ways. This means so will you. Are you okay with that?
