Full Job Description
As the regional construction manager you will join our property management team in Atlanta and be responsible for the overall construction and maintenance aspects of Landa's growing portfolio of properties. We are looking for a team player who can prioritize, multitask and who enjoys the fast pace of a hyper-growth company.
What You Will Be Doing
- Oversee maintenance and rehabs of properties
- Inspect homes to create a scope of work and develop budget for project
- Manage sourcing of construction materials for on-going projects
- Negotiate pricing with existing vendor network
- Update the local management team on the status of projects
- Help to develop and implement improvement strategies with the goal of maximizing revenue.
- Ensure compliance with various government regulations and programs
- Maintain positive resident experience and satisfaction
- Apply your experience to help Landa reach its objectives
- Promote positive, harmonious relations between staff, vendors and residents
Requirements
- 3+ years in a construction manager role
- Knowledge of property management cycle
- Experience with high-volume estimation, writing, and evaluating project specifications and scopes of work
- Comprehension of federal housing laws and any applicable housing provisions
- Grit, determination and a great team player
- Attention to detail with great organizational skills
- Ambitious and entrepreneurial spirit
- Strong understanding of the local market
- Passionate about delivering high quality service
- Familiare with property management software
