Responsibilities
- Autonomously manage bi-weekly payroll for all employees in US & Canada
- Manage onboarding data collection and dissemination to appropriate stakeholders
- Participate in the development of local processes ensuring accurate translation of any HRIS data changes to Payroll
- Recommend and drive advancement of HRIS and payroll systems integrations
- Upgrade strategy and landscape throughout North America in collaboration Global partners and stakeholders
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure accuracy of data and and payroll deductions in compliance with applicable state and federal pay and benefits regulations
- Manage administration of all benefits and time off programs for employees within North America, including contribution management, withholdings, and balance adjustments
- Manage leaves of absence for all employees within North America with a high degree of sensitivity and in compliance with applicable regulations
- Manage all compliance and tax reporting
- Proactively seek opportunities to deliver services more efficiently and effectively to stakeholders
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience managing payroll, benefits administration, and tax withholding in a multi-state and international organization
- Experience translating employee lifecycle transactions through systems and into payroll
- Able to translate and apply state and federal regulations into practical system application and implications
- PHR, CEBS, or CPP certification preferred
- Any knowledge of Workday HRIS a strong plus
- Ideally, some experience working within a global environment
- Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving capabilities
- Intermediate Excel data manipulation and analysis capabilities
