Tax Accountant - CPA Candidate

Our client, a reputable CPA firm, is seeking a skilled Tax Accountant who is a CPA candidate to join their team. As a Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns, providing tax advice and guidance to clients, and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual and business tax returns
• Research and interpret tax laws and regulations
• Assist with tax planning and strategies
• Communicate with clients to provide tax advice and guidance
• Ensure accurate and timely tax filing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary financial information
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Currently pursuing CPA certification or already a CPA candidate
• 2+ years of experience in tax accounting, preferably in a CPA firm
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
• Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

The annual salary target for this job in this market is $60,000 - $70,000. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the market demand, education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
