Staff Accountant

We are in search of a versatile individual to fulfill the role of Staff Accountant. As an integral member of our team, the successful candidate will seamlessly transition between handling accounting tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of a remote workforce. Finance and Accounting

• Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes including invoice processing, payment collection, and vendor management
• Assist in month-end close activities
• Assist in bi-weekly payroll processing
• Assist in budget/forecasting preparation and monitoring
• Deposit checks, send FedExes, and other duties as assigned
• Reconcile bank statements
• Balance the ledger for regular reports

Office Management/Exec Support

• Organize and facilitate virtual meetings, including setting up video conferencing, screen sharing, and distributing relevant materials
• Assist with document preparation and formatting, including emails, reports, presentations, and other materials for executive review
• Maintain the electronic filing system ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of documents, files, and confidential information

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business
• 1-2 years’ experience in the accounting field
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy of data
• Proficiency in Quick Books and Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Teams
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A HIPAA compliant work from home office in the Tampa area
• Ability to meet at Tampa HQ office
