Terran Orbital is seeking an experienced Sr Accountant to join our growing team. Reporting to an Accounting Manager, the Sr Accountant will be responsible for assisting in the monthly close process, support periodic financial reporting process, and other technical accounting and special projects as needed.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist in the monthly accounting close process.
- Record Property, Plant, and Equipment (PPE) acquisitions and manage depreciation schedules.
- Manage the recording of prepaids and amortization entries.
- Review monthly credit card transactions to ensure accurate recording in the financial system (company currently implementing Concur)
- Manage the recording and reconciling of various intercompany accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of various financial reports for management, ensuring they reflect accurate and current financial information.
- Provide necessary documentation and explanations to support audit inquiries.
- Assist in the preparation of technical accounting analyses on an as needed basis.
- Provide support on special projects and perform ad hoc analyses as required.
- Offer assistance in other areas of accounting and finance as needed to support the team and organizational goals.
This position will be full-time onsite in Irvine, CA.
Requirements
Qualification And Skills
- Bachelor's degree in accounting required
- 3+ years of work experience in the accounting and/or auditing profession required
- Top-tier public accounting firm experience preferred
- CPA licensure is preferred
- Candidate must be accountable, collaborative, creative, and passionate.
- Excellent analytical and accounting skills
- Excellent ability to communicate project and status updates to the team
- Superior organizational skills with attention to detail, excellent project managerial skills
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment; able to multi-task effectively and meet all established deadlines
- Self-motivated; highly capable of completing tasks and responding to department requests independently
- Strong work ethic & professionalism
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Salary Range $75,000.00 - $90,000.00
Your actual level and base salary will be determined case-by-case and may vary based on the job-related qualification, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Physical Demands
An employee must meet the physical demands described to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. In performing the duties of this job, the employee is routinely required to sit or stand for long durations of time, in addition to bending, reaching, and walking. This would require the ability to lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds. This position is generally sedentary, with substantial computer usage.
Work Environment
The job operates in a professional office environment but in a manufacturing company. This job routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and scanners.
