The Senior Manager of Residential Sales and Marketing will be responsible for managing and implementing marketing strategies for Swire’s premier residential development project in South Florida, The Residences at Mandarin Oriental, Miami. This role will report to the VP of Sales and Marketing for Swire Properties USA and will focus on pre-development planning, positioning, marketing, PR and sales support to bring projects to fruition.
From strategy and research through to execution, the Senior Manager will collaborate seamlessly with external creative agencies and internal stakeholders across multiple disciplines to bring these new products successfully to market. The ideal candidate is an exceptional communicator, client-service oriented, creatively driven, solutions-oriented and is a strategic-thinker who also understands detail and flawless execution.
Job Responsibilities
- Execute project marketing plans, programs, timelines and budgets under the direction of the VP of Sales and Marketing, with the goal of creating a vision and identity for the project(s) that will add value and drive sales results.
- Interact and work directly with design teams, creative agencies, public relations firms, and all other ancillary professionals involved in the project.
- Serve as day-to-day account management for sales and marketing deliverables, including but not limited to the execution of Sales Gallery design, marketing campaigns and promotional events, brand management, content procurement/creation, media campaign planning and management, website design/maintenance, signage, collateral development, events, partnerships, promotions, etc.
- Liaise with the sales team regularly to provide marketing support and assist with strategy. Ensure a coordinated approach during pre-development and throughout Sales cycle.
- Prepare for sales efforts with creation of tools and collateral that clearly articulate the project and its unique positioning to inform key stakeholders and help effectively sell the brand. Tools include (but not limited to): brand immersion, sales messaging, International sales mission collateral, fact sheets, brochures, promotional assets, videos, etc.
- Working knowledge of real estate CRM programs such as MRI/Condo Sales that will ultimately aid our Sales teams in developing their marketing platforms. You’ll be expected to learn the platform, train agents on them and often use them yourself to run reports.
- Assist with all preparation for calls/meetings, and attend calls/meetings, as appropriate. Organize and drive follow-up action items and implement a process for project management-related communication and updates.
- Manage, troubleshoot, and communicate direction and approvals in a timely manner.
- Contribute to the development and upkeep of the various Residential/Development Marketing budgets and maintain consistent, accurate accounting and forecasting. Be responsible for reviewing and coding all project-related invoices and tenders.
Requirements
- B.S./B.A. (Marketing or related majors preferred)
- 3-5+ years of brand marketing experience within Luxury Residential/Real Estate/Hotel Industries
- Prior branded residential and sales knowledge is an advantage.
- Languages: Proficiency in English required; Spanish proficiency highly regarded
- Experience with establishing and managing budgets.
- Experience in managing and directing strategic partners / agencies / vendors.
- Exceptional communication skills, both in-person and in-writing
- A proven self-starter who can independently lead both strategy and execution, get internal buy-in, and communicate effectively up and down to ensure alignment
- Demonstrated ability to take complex projects and efforts from conception to successful execution. Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects.
- Experience working with associates/vendors/customers in remote locations and international markets (multiple time zones).
- Strong team player and ability to foster relationships and collaborate across disciplines
- Experienced overseeing the design and production of print/digital materials and publications. Experience with content creation and production tools is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organization skills, with ability to toggle between high level, long-term strategies and ground-level, short-term tasks effortlessly
- Strong at tactical delivery with a good eye for detail
