Sales Support

Goodyear Belts is seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Sales Support to join our Industrial Power Transmission Sales department. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of Excel and experience in sales forecasting, report preparation, customer services and logistics. This role will support the sales team by preparing detailed sales reports, analyzing sales data, working with customers service, and logistic department to adequate sales delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales Reporting:
• Prepare and analyze sales reports by customer, region, and state.
• Generate regular sales forecasts and update projections based on current data.
• Develop and maintain dashboards to track sales performance and key metrics.
• Cross Functional Support:
• Understand and utilize Field Service and Quality forms.
• Manage Stock Adjustment Return Authorization Forms.
• Provide support for the sales team, including ad-hoc data analysis and reporting.
• Track shipments to customers, and provide timely updates.
• Collaborate with inventory control to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with product and purchase departments to improve back-orders management.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Experience:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a sales or manufacturing environment.
• Skills:
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of sales forecasting techniques and tools.
• Familiarity with inventory management practices and software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite).
• Knowledge of ERP System NetSuite preferred but not required.
• Background in industrial power transmission or related industries.
